Our climate, warm during the day and colder at night, generates the perfect environment to create the correct concentration of sugar in cane stalks. From the Venezuelan sugar cane derives one of the sweetest molasses in the world, which has
a direct impact on the quality of our lands' rum, among which our Pampero Aniversario stands out.
All the magic begins with the sugar cane. This is the essential raw material and the starting point where the production of rum begins. Its harvest, called zafra, occurs between the months of December and May. The landscape of bloomed cane
fields lets the growers know that the sugar cane is already ripe and ready for cutting. The western central region of Venezuela, which corresponds to the Lara, Yaracuy and Portuguesa states, concentrates more than 80% of the sugar cane
fields. The reeds used to make Rum Pampero spirits come from this large region.
