DISTILLATION

An amazing secret of the House of Pampero is how Pampero Aniversario is made in a very simple manner, yet with unique creativity. It may come as a surprise that such an extraordinary rum comes from just one type of alcohol. However, its triple distillation process enables to achieve light alcohol with very unique physicochemical and sensory characteristics.
The next phase is the distillation, where we purify through heat and metal, the alcohols for Pampero Aniversario, distilled in column still. Distillation is a highly relevant process that separates water from alcohol through the evaporation of the components with a lower boiling point, using steam.
