Pampero has always aimed for the highest quality standards. In 1954, Pampero became the first aged rum from Venezuela, with a minimum of two years of aging, setting the course for Venezuelan rums from that moment on. In 1963, the first
premium rum from Venezuela was born: Pampero Aniversario (*). In 1993, it was the first rum with the Norven Brand in the country, and in 2004 it was granted the Denomination of Origin Ron de Venezuela seal of recognition. At the House of
Pampero, we always take care of the quality of raw materials and liquids during the process, to guarantee the particularity of the final product that will go on the shelf. With more than 80 years of experience, we comply with the highest
quality standards.
* Pampero Aniversario was launched to the Venezuelan market to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Industrias Pampero C.A. in April 1963.
This is another key step with a huge contribution to delivering our extraordinary Pampero Aniversario. The highest quality standards require sophisticated equipment and instruments to perform physical and chemical tests at various stages of
the process. However, sensory evaluation, also called tasting, is the last test that determines whether or not the product is approved. A minimum of 12 years is required to be recognized as an expert taster. Luis Figueroa, Pampero’s rum
master, is truly an expert, with more than 28 years of experience in the field.
